Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a contract between you and GazeWarp (“GazeWarp,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a business operating in the United States. They govern your use of gazewarp-site, the GazeWarp Chrome extension, any related desktop or overlay software, and the AI features we provide (together, the “Service”).

By creating an account, purchasing a plan, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You must be at least 13 years old to use GazeWarp. The Service is not directed to children under 13. If local law in the EU, UK, or elsewhere requires a higher age to consent to online services, you must meet that higher age.

You must be able to form a binding contract and must not be barred from using the Service under applicable law.

Accounts are created only through Google sign-in. We do not offer password-based GazeWarp accounts. You are responsible for the Google account you use and for all activity under your GazeWarp account.

To prevent abuse, each account may be used on one device only. We may bind your account to a device identifier. Using the same account on additional devices, sharing an account, or trying to bypass the device limit may result in suspension or a permanent ban, without a refund.

GazeWarp provides AI-assisted tools for supported learning platforms. What you get depends on your plan:

• Starter: access through our Google Chrome extension.
• Pro and LockDown: the extension plus additional software. A download link and setup guide are provided after purchase.
• Paid plans include a monthly AI allowance that we fulfill using our own model-provider credentials (currently OpenRouter). You do not receive a personal API key to use outside GazeWarp.

Features, supported platforms, models, and credit amounts may change. We do not guarantee that any answer is correct, complete, or appropriate for your assignment.

GazeWarp is an assistance tool. You assume all responsibility for following your institution’s policies and for any consequences of violating them. Review those policies before using GazeWarp on any graded assessment.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service if doing so would violate school, exam, or proctoring rules that apply to you.
• Share, resell, or sublicense your account, extension, software, or AI access.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Service except as allowed by law.
• Attempt to extract, copy, or reuse our provider API credentials.
• Use the Service to harm others, commit fraud, or break the law.
• Circumvent device limits, bans, billing, or security controls.

We may investigate suspected abuse and may suspend or terminate access immediately.

Paid plans are monthly subscriptions billed by Stripe. By purchasing, you authorize Stripe to charge the payment method you provide for the plan you select and for each renewal.

• Subscriptions renew automatically each month until you cancel.
• You may cancel at any time from your account dashboard.
• After you cancel, you keep access until the end of the then-current subscription period. You will not be charged for the next period.
• All purchases are non-refundable. We do not prorate or refund unused time, unused AI credits, or a billing period that has already started.
• Plan switches are handled through Stripe and may include proration as Stripe calculates it. That is not a refund of a prior charge.

Prices may change. If we change the price of a plan you already pay for, we will charge the new price on a later renewal only.

The Service depends on third parties, including Google (sign-in), Supabase (accounts and data), Stripe (payments), Vercel (website hosting), Cloudflare (AI proxy), and OpenRouter (model access). Their terms and outages are outside our control. We are not responsible for third-party failures.

GazeWarp, the site, the extension, the software, and related branding are owned by us or our licensors. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your personal, lawful use while your account is in good standing.

You keep rights in content you submit (for example, question text you send for an answer). You grant us a license to process that content as needed to operate the Service, including sending it to our AI providers.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, undetectable, or error-free, or that AI output will be correct.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GAZEWARP AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, GRADES, ACADEMIC STANDING, DATA, OR GOODWILL.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE THREE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM. Some places do not allow certain limits; in those places, our liability is limited to the fullest extent allowed.

You will defend and indemnify GazeWarp and its operators against claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms or any school or exam policy.

You may delete your account from the account dashboard. Deleting your account immediately cancels any Stripe subscription (you will not be charged again), permanently removes your GazeWarp account from our systems, and ends access right away. Fees already paid are not refunded.

If you later sign in with the same Google email, that is a new account with no paid plan. Remaining time on a deleted subscription does not carry over.

You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, if we are required to by law, or if we discontinue the Service. Fees already paid are not refunded.

We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms. If you do not agree, cancel and stop using the Service.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Except where prohibited, you and GazeWarp agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the United States.

If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you may also have mandatory rights in your country of residence that these Terms cannot take away.
